Dear Corporate Partner:

The Bay Area chapter of 100 Black Men was established 31 years ago with the intention of improving the quality of life for African-Americans in the San Francisco Bay Area. With the support from giving and business sectors throughout the bay area, we have been able meet our goals of making a powerful impact in underserved communities.

 Today we are excited to invite your company to join the ranks of Wells Fargo, Union Bank, Kaiser and AT&T in support of our organization's efforts to provide needed services and assistance to the greater Bay Area's African-American community. It is with much gratitude for the generosity of numerous Fortune 500 corporations, companies and organizations that we are able to fulfill our mission. This support has allowed us to:

 ·   Award more than $1,500,000 in scholarships to students attending prestigious institutions including Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Spelman, Morehouse and Northwestern;

·    Mentor more than 300 at-risk youth, many of whom have become role models for their communities;

· Sponsor over 20 health and wellness programs, including cancer, prostate and HIV screenings, designed to highlight health issues that disproportionately affect the African-American community;

·  Host an annual 100 Black Men Tommie Smith Youth Track Meet, which showcases the athletic ability of African-American youth ages 6 to 18;

· Organize 60+ seminars in the areas of entrepreneurship, environmental awareness and technology.

On Saturday, December 14, 2019, we will host its signature annual Scholarship Benefit and Awards Gala at the Hyatt Regency located at 5 Embarcadero, San Francisco, CA.   Celebrating 31 years, the evening begins with a reception at 6:00pm, followed by awards and a dinner program at 7:30pm.

Historically, the gala has attracted more than 1,000 of the Bay Area’s most distinguished African-American residents.  The fundraising goal for this year's gala benefit is $500,000, and we are hopeful your company will join us as one of our scholarship sponsors to ensure this year is our most successful.

As a major sponsor, your company and its branding will have the opportunity to gain notoriety and credence with several thousand leading members of the African-American community as a visible supporter of an organization that has established a 20-year tradition of providing invaluable educational, health, mentoring and economic development support to an underserved population.

The 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, Inc. is proud to be recognized as one of the preeminent African-American organizations focused on improving the quality of life for African Americans. The organization’s impressive membership ranks reads like a “Who’s Who” of Bay Area men, and is comprised of prominent doctors, business owners, educators, media personalities and politicians. The group has a deep commitment to the community, and it focuses on five primary areas: Educational Scholarships, Youth Mentoring, Leadership Development, Health and Wellness and Economic Development.
